Our Deck is Your Deck

Sit and watch the sunset, eagles or hawks find a lazy breeze to ride or just sit and stare at the horizon and listen to the wonderful southern breezes play our very special wind chimes. This is what the Blue Mountains at the top of the Texas Hill Country looks like.
"Let Our World Change Your World."

Aguila Vista translates to Eagle View. We chose that name after watching a pair of Golden Eagles pass close overhead, find a thermal and disappear up out of sight!.

Even if you are not here when this happens you will see many wonderful examples of Texas flora and fauna any time of year. Visit the creek for a swim in the cool clear spring water of the Johnson Fork.

Starting with one cabin and soon hopefully another. We are planning a full service bed and breakfast on 83 acres in the Upper Texas Hill Country. Our area is called the Blue Mountains. When you step out on your deck you'll know why. You will be able to walk our miles of nature trails, Swim in our deep spring fed creek. Or just relax on your deck in a hammock and nap. There is plenty not to do, as they say in Junction!

Our Architect is designing a spectacular hill country cabin that is not your grandmothers "Country Cottage. No Gingham here. We want to offer a Modern Texas Style. Come see for yourself. We are striving for a unique style for the hill country. Our rooms will be Clean, Comfortable and have all amenities. But have a minimalist feel. Our lives become so cluttered that a few days with nothing around you but you.

Come out to Aguila Vista, We are only 2 hours west of Austin, and 90 minutes west of San Antonio, just one mile off I-10 at Segovia, near Junction, Texas.

The Rooms
Your lives are full of clutter and noise. That is why our rooms are being designed to be as minimalist as possible. To accomplish this and still offer a comfortable and relaxing place for you to unwind is our goal. We think we have found that balance, but please come see for yourself.

The Ranch
The Ranch is 83 Acres in the Blue Mountains of Texas, Our elevation is 2060ft, and the property changes elevation almost 300ft. The Johnson Fork Creek continually runs through the property. Its cool deep water is an oasis in some very rough but beautiful country. You'll see wildlife of every description and flora and fauna that sometimes defy description. It all awaits your arrival by car or by air.
