We offer a wide variety of guided and self guided tours on our property and other places in Kimble county.  A few are listed below.

With 2 nights accommodations you will also receive a great book on Texas flora and fauna with a checklist of things to look for around the ranch.  We have a very diverse ecosystem because of our proximity to the Texas Hill Country and West Texas desert.  You also get two pairs of binoculars to use to help in spotting some of the 250 kinds of birds spotted in Kimble county.

  Cycling Packages.

Kimble county has some of the best cycling roads in the state.  The locals are bicycle friendly and will even be glad to help out if you should need their assistance.  We can drop you off and pick you up at various places in the county.  You will cross creeks at low water crossings and climb hills that are a challenge for even the most capable riders.  You choose the type of ride and we will provide the transportation for you and your bike.

Mountain Bikers paradise.  You want rocks.  We got em"  We'll even provide the bandages and ice packs after you crazies sign our lawyers paperwork.  Awesome Rock Hopping Happens Here!

10pm wakeup call with coffee and snacks as well as a late night breakfast.  You will have access to one of our observatory domes or lighted pad sites with isolated poles for mounting your telescope and a built in compass.

South Llano River & Fishing Tours of all lengths available from our network or river and fishing guides.

The Llano River is one of Texas' few remaining wild rivers.  Spring-fed, the spectacular Llano flows eastward from West Texas through rural and ranch country before it empties into Lake LBJ on the Colorado River.  The terrain is rocky (some of the rock outcroppings are more than one billion years old--the oldest exposed rock on the North American continent), mesquite and cactus-covered hill country.  More than 100 miles from a major city the sparkling water and clean, dry air make for an incredible angling experience with an unexpected bonus of startling nighttime stargazing.

Romance Packages:

  Simply Romantic Package:
This is our basic romance package suited for a couple who just needs a few days away from it all.  On your way out you will stop by the famous Wild Seed farm for a free fresh bouquet of Texas wild flowers of your choosing to bring with you. We will provide a vase in your room. We'll start you off with 2 nights accommodation.  Two bottles of wine from a Hill Country Winery and a fruit and cheese & chocolates plate will be waiting by the fireplace when you arrive. Breakfast in your room the next morning.  And a private guided walking tour of the ranch with one of our guides.  We suggest a cool dip in our spring fed creek after that to cool off before dinner.

  Romantic Scavenger Hunt:
This is the best way to surprise your mate with a getaway they will never forget.  You receive a card (see below) with your prepaid reservation that helps you start off your mini-vacation.  The Ledged of the lost gold.  It will tell your lover to pack their skins for a two moon journey toward the setting sun.  It is a theme that will continue on into Fredericksburg to a great shop of Indian Jeweler for a small gift then on to the famous Wild Seed farm for a free fresh bouquet of Texas wild flowers of your choosing to bring with you. We will provide a vase in your room.  Upon arrival you will find another card and some gold foiled chocolate coins and a bottle of wine from a Hill Country Winery and a fruit and cheese plate will be waiting by the fireplace when you arrive. Breakfast in your room the next morning.  below are the cards you receive.  We will always be glad to add to these packages with any special request you may have.

If you choose your romantic scavenger hunt can lead you around the hill country.   We have places along the way your clue cards will lead you to. You and your lover will stop for flowers, wine and gifts even massages if you choose to customize your package.  All services will be pre paid so no hassles along the way. At each stop you will receive another card leading you on to you next stop.

This one will be waiting in your room when you arrive. Along with flowers and chocolate coins.
