We know your life has gotten very hectic. You need a place
to get away from all the clutter of office and personal lives
that move at break neck speeds. Our rooms are the
perfect prescription for what ails you.
The drawing just above is the basic design of our cabins. The
banner above is the view all our cabins will have. We hope to offer a high style cabin with a
minimalist feel. We hope the completed design is a structure to
compliment its location and have a feeling of calm quietness. It
looks like Chris Lewis has nailed it, on his FIRST draft!
Clean Lines and Uncluttered Spaces
We will furnish our rooms with the most comfortable mattresses & bedding we
can find. But it stops there. A few pieces of art, some
flowers and a view you won't soon forget are the only
decorations. No frills or gingham.
We have NO alarm clocks, they're Evil! If you are up in the very early
mornings. You should take your coffee and go for a walk. Our little bird
friends like this quiet cool time of the day you will too.
We do have a Bose® Wave Radio & CD
player. It has an alarm function and you can wake up to soothing
music if you must be disturbed in this manner. Or load your favorite play list into your iPod, it plugs
right in to the radio. We'll even provide you the cable.
"That's great but I'll go crazy with no TV"!
Satellite TV , Pay Per View and DVD players are available for an extra
fee. It is locked in a closet so you'll never know its
there. We think you will enjoy a few days with nothing to
distract you. Go ahead give it a try, we dare you!
Can we tempt you with an XBOX, we have that too.
Screened in Cabins, Want to try roughing it. We
will have some wonderful little screened in cabins with wood
stoves and ceiling fans. You bring your sleeping bag and a
cot. Cabins
have NO running water. You are not far from the shared
bathrooms his & hers. Cabins have no place to cook.
There is a common area with full outdoor kitchen available for you to use.
Your own private mountain top oasis. Spring water pool to
cool off day or night. This is a pool we found on the web.
Who ever built this we are envious and are going to have one
built using your pool as an inspiration. We have seen
others like this but none this lovely.
Don't Forget the creek. We offer Creek
Swimming fishing, paddleboats, and canoes. You will find every
kind of float and water toy you could imagine. The creek
has the nicest views of any body of
water around! Float on the creek and watch Golden Eagles &
Peregrine Falcons fly overhead.

ON-LINE RESERVATIONS Below you will find our
online reservation. We accept papal. You
will receive an email confirmation that your booking was
accepted. Then a follow up call to finalize your
reservation. You will then receive your
information packet and confirmations for special
services requested. Please feel free to call to
make a credit card reservation. We answer the
phone when we can and return all call as promptly as
possible.
What deposits are required?
Along with our concept of one fixed price per day. When your
reservation is made we require no deposit for booking.
We do require a credit card on file and 45 days before your
reservation we will charge your credit card for the 50% of
the amount of your rental. Upon check in you will be
charged the rest of the amount due and a $500.00 credit card
imprint is made as a deposit covering all equipment like
bicycles, paddleboats, binoculars, telescopes DVD's and
such. Upon check out slip is shredded. We are
sorry for the formality but we are a small family business

With 2 nights accommodations you will
also receive a great book on Texas flora and fauna with a
checklist of things to look for around the ranch. You also
get to use two pairs of binoculars to help in spotting some
of the 250 kinds of birds spotted in Kimble county.
Each morning Breakfast is in the refrigerator and only needs to be
heated. You will also find a box lunch to take with
you to your blind. You will receive and early wakeup call so you
have time to have breakfast and get into your blind before
the birds start flying. We can also offer guided
birding tours.

• Cancellations must be received 14 days in advance to avoid

All cancellations are subject to a $15 charge for processing
refunds
Cancellations and any change in a reservation on less than 14
days advance notice result in loss of the deposit unless all
cancelled room nights are re-rented.
Pets are welcome, please follow these rules:
1. Shampoo / Flea Dip prior to arrival.
2. Bring along a water dish, food, favorite toy, familiar
bedding, an extra blanket to throw on the floor or bed, and a
travel cage.
3. Always keep your pet on a leash while on our grounds and near
others. Other adults, children or another pet may not love your
pet as you do.
4. Do not leave your pet in a room unattended or out of its
travel cage. All guests are entitled to the 'quiet enjoyment' of
the ranch.
ABOUT BRING PETS TO THE RANCH
We are very pet friendly. The ranch is a
wonderful place for you and your pet. Please remember this
is the Texas Hill Country and cactus and the occasional
porcupine make for a lousy time for your pet and you, should
your dog run into either. Not to mention skunks or rattle
snakes.
Please leash your pets unless they are well behaved and do not
let them roam unattended. Or just leave the "kids with the
sitter" in Austin try leaving your pet at
www.taurusdogtraing.com.
They will have a great time while you enjoy a few days away from
it all.
